As a result of visiting a primary school in Kent last year with the Dodo, I had a skype meeting with the headmaster, who arranged for the head of ICT for Kent to be present too. Who?? Well, just in case you didn’t know either, ICT stands for, Information, Communications and Technology. The meeting seemed to go very well and we are working towards launching the project to selected schools in October, to conclude in November. It appears the shorter the window, the more focused the projects tend to be! The idea we are working towards is an “Apprentice” style web based inter schools competition to design the complete marketing around our next song, called ‘SWITCH IT OFF!! Yours truly to be the acting big bad Alan Sugar. Fortunately the Dodo project seems to dovetail almost perfectly with the current curriculum. As I am currently spending less time in the UK, the project will be completely web based, through ’Flash meetings’ with the pupils and teachers.. No! Not what you are thinking….. but rather a secure network that the schools are setting up to allowing their pupils protected access to the internet!

Hi! I have been on some crazy journeys, but this one has to take the biscuit! In a nutshell, I was a partner in the successful and culty shop and brand, Have A Nice Day, Notting Hill, London.

Five years ago, feeling creatively frustrated, we (my wife and I) decided to sell the freehold, which gave us the space and temporary freedom, to go and do (within a modest budget) what we wanted to. I chose to continue developing our existing brand, Don’t do the Dodo, something I had been developing on the back burner for a number of years.

So this blog is a collection of the ideas , contacts , reactions, supporters, helpers and clowns that we have encountered and the continuing adventures of the Dodo… from our perspective.
